So, Asian, European, Latin American, and Native American slaves would be okay? We just can't have African slaves?

Slavery has been around for a long, long time. It wasn't usually based on the color of your skin, but whether you were on the winning or losing side of a war/battle.

" Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything —you can't conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him" - Robert Heinlein

I wonder how I would feel if slavery was legal.    I tend to think I would despise it, but having a slave would certainly have its advantages.

People might want a slave, but who wants to be a slave?

Roger that. It is, IMO, and with the possible exception of death, the worst condition one human being can inflict upon another.

I have two questions ...

1 - What is Duck Dynasty?

2 - Do people call everyone who lives in the south - Red Necks?

I've heard of red necks many times, but I never once questioned why they were given the name?

If I have time tomorrow I will take a picture of my Red neck and put it up! 10+ hours in the sun every day baby. Haha. But yes as someone else has stated people got that name from necks actually turning red. There is one thing to note however. If you are from the city and do not have the deep south look about you then you are typically not called a Red Neck. In Deep East Texas where I am from, Red Neck is kind of a name of honor similar to how Rough Necks take pride in their name where I am from.S*** Kicker is a whole different ballgame though. :D
