Sand/tar oil is vastly more expensive than ME oil. That's just how it is. In order for it to be even profitable, fuel costs have to rise above $3.50 a gallon (before taxes) and stay there. Right now, sand oil from Canada is losing money from what I've understood.

Depends, the break even point is Brent at about $100 per barrel, so today they would earn $7 per barrel, tomorrow that could be way different again.

Our military is fine, trust me.

Wow!  Those last two paragraphs just show how totally unaware Socialists are.  I just don’t know if it is out of Ignorance or Apathy?

Ok, so you remember that stuff.  But does it sink in?  It just doesn’t click for you as to how important it is.  Clinton and Nixon were both impeached for less.  People die in natural disasters.  You can’t stop that but when a President deliberately allows Americans to die for no strategic or tactical gain.  Just left to be sodomized and die.  This just says that any American abroad is opened to be targeted.  Do you understand the gravity of the situation?  But then that’s not it.  There is the cover up.  They screwed up.  Hilary threw herself under the bus for Obama.  It took them 2 weeks to finally admit that it was a terrorist attack (rather than an act of terror).  This just shows how impotent we really are.  Do you not think that our enemies understand this?  But now we have this Petraeus scandal.  Something is fishy with that.  And the non reporting of the Iranian firing on a US drone until after the election.  What more is there?

The point I am making is that you don’t hear of the gaffs made by this Administration.  This President can do no wrong, even when Americans are killed.  But the Previous President was vilified because he didn’t have that certain charisma in front of the camera.  Obama did no better with Sandy that Bush did with Katrina.  Obama should be reamed just as hard as Bush was.  

A non state entity screwed with this nation.  Bin Laden has shown that it is possible.  And as our military shrinks, will enable more attacks here and abroad.  The only thing that protected us was the fact that we out spent the next 25 nations combined did in defense expenditure.  The more you keep saying that no other nation will mess with us, brings the day that they do, one day closer.  Trust me, our military is not fine.  It is not a static thing.  The enemy is constantly evolving and regrouping waiting for the time to strike.  That is what they do.  

Never said I didn’t care about acts of terror committed by US citizens.  Part of the problem is the level of Socialism in our system.  It enables the baser part of ourselves to come out unrestricted by the Responsibility of Citizenship.  Under Socialism, people expect to be controlled by government.  Until we can correct the mindset of this nation by exercising Socialism, we’re going to have to deal with crazies.  Other than setting up a police state, we would have to rely on more citizens carrying their own weapons.

It should go to Defense and public works as intended.  The purpose of the government was to allow the people to take care of themselves.  Not become wards of the state.  You’re biggest error here is putting people and infrastructure together as if they have the same attributes.  They are different things.  People are not like infrastructure.  You just can’t throw money at them and expect them to be fine.  Infrastructure is all the same, people are not.  Some people are better, more talented that others and some are worse.  They are not equal and neither will they ever be.

Obama is just liberal, and he's not even all that liberal. The state I live in is WAY more liberal than Obama ever will be.

I wonder if republicans know how idiotic they sound when they call him a socialist. I'm guessing no, or they'd stop doing it. LOL.

Why do I harp?  Because he is Socialist.  Everything he has said and done is Socialism.  And Socialism is the enemy of our Constitution.  That is why.  The Democratic Party, no longer exists.  It has been replaced by the Socialist Party of America.  Why can’t they come clean and be honest for once?  France, Italy, Norway are all proud of their Socialist parties.  Wasn’t Obamacare enough of a clue for you?  A government that can tell us what we can do with our own bodies is a government that has gone too far.  And that is the basic definition of any Oligarchy no matter how benevolent.  From a Socialist Democracy to Totalitarianism.

It doesn’t really matter.  Socialist, Statist, deep Communists (Marxist, Fascist, Nazi, Dictator, King, Potentate, or even Democracy), it’s all the same.  Where it matters, it is all the same.  We could sit here and have a long discussion on the differences of all the flavors of Oligarchy but the bottom line is that the longer that these forms of government stay in power, they take more power from the people until the government has total power over the people.  This was the purpose of the Founding Fathers establishing the Constitution, to ensure the Rights of the People was not infringed upon by the government (for whatever reason, benevolent or not).  Now with over a century of Socialism creeping into our system, people cannot tell what Socialism is.
