when comparing british football ive always liked the expression, football is a gentlemans game played by brutes, rugby is a brutes game played by gentleman lol
Does that include the northereners who play Rugby League.
Where I live it's a massive hotbed when it comes to this code.
So by gentleman do you mean the ones educated at Eton?
Because some of these Rugby Leaguers are big bruisers with gruff northern accents.
I can assure you this scene is more real ale then Pimms.
Though I'm not disputing the fact they are gentlemen in the traditional sense.
They could have more manners than their Rugby Union counterparts.
