"The space agency maintains a 2012 information page debunking popular Mayan apocalypse rumors, such as the idea that a rogue planet will hit Earth on Dec. 21, killing everyone."

Good job NASA.  Thanks for applying my tax dollars toward this important topic.

I wonder how many people think the world is going to end now that Hostess has stopped making twinkies?

Hahaha That's a brilliant link. :tu:

That NASA even had to do this blows my mind. Guess we still live in a "demon haunted world" (at least some of us).

Funny you should mention that. I bought some twinkies out of a vending machine the other day and the expiration date was Dec. 21 2012.

It's good to have some skepticism so you won't be gullible & naïve. But to much of it can make you arrogant & egotistical.

I'm sure a "new" end of days lies in our immediate future.  David Icke, David Wilcock and their ilk have tons more doom porn to sell the the gullible masses.

Funny how I have noticed as of late that many of the "doom" predictions have been morphing into "ascension and enlightenment" predictions... hmmm...maybe because they know they been fleecing folks for the last few years and they need to throw the mob off their trail.

Pretty sad if anyone is so scared the check themselves out.

The danger substantially varies, depending on people's reactions and/or actions.

Human species fears being eliminated from their dreams of greed and lust nothing more nothing less. Grow up accept change, lie it down with a take it as it comes attitude, if your lucky enough to be included in anything that the universes has planned be grateful.

At the end of the day, why is everyone freaking out where's your "god" to advise you :S

But all seriousness, this is me at base and why it's my signature for the UM Forum. Why is everyone so concerned with the end. We all should be focused on the new beginning and worried if you even actually included in the grand design.

This has been the "bigger picture"'s main downfall, they are proactively barging their way into any new beginning to force that they will be included in such. No Corp, Religion, Oragnisation or Political "Super Power" will ever be able to achieve this because they lack the compassion to do so.

:)

Meh I assume the apoc(or just me dying)could happen any day and I live accordingly making everyday as best as I can and going out and doing things I want to do instead of waiting forever.

I'd have fun working at NASA if I could the practical jokes you could play........

I don't see why it would blow anybodys mind that NASA had to do this.. think about it.. many cults have klled themselves before these events "predicted" events happen. If only they had waited another hourrather then killing themselves.. then they could have all laughed at their stupidity and the cult leaders. Anyhow.. i believe Natural Selection should occur.. let the idiots cull themselves lol >
