Still Waters Posted December 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2015 A Louisiana police officer on an overnight patrol was forced to ditch his cruiser after an owl attacked him. Covington Officer Lance Benjamin was working early on Christmas Eve when he suddenly felt something hit him on the side of his face. "So I'm thinking 'okay, maybe it was a football or something'. And then I felt some scratching on the back of my head and some pecking," he told New Orleans television station WVUE. Ofc Benjamin said he briefly lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a ditch. http://news.sky.com/...-police-cruiser

Bendy Demon Posted December 27, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 27, 2015 (edited) It is nice to see a "cop" story that doesn't end in violence with someone or something being killed. Sounds like the owl was defending its nest, rather well from what I can see. Edited December 27, 2015 by Ryu

+and-then Posted December 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 27, 2015 I hear them most nights when I'm out walking. I use a flashlight and make noise so that they realize I'm not an easy win!
Eldorado Posted December 27, 2015 #6 Share Posted December 27, 2015 You need eyes in the back of your head for those owls.
