lol, I didn't know where to post this, but this looks like the best place. http://www.hercolubus.tv/ is giving out books called "Hercolubus or Red Planet" I personally don't believe in any of that "doomsday" crap, but it's nice to read up on what you despise  So, if you want the book, just go to the site and scroll all the way down.

*I'm not responsible it you get kidnapped and/or brainwashed by a crazy cult. You are giving them your name and address on your own free will. You have been warned.

Sounds like it's just another version of planet X. It's basically someone else cashing in on the 2012 hype.

Author V.M. Rabolu writes in "Hercolubus or Red Planet" that Barnard's star is actually a planet known to the ancients as Hercolubus. Which allegedly came dangerously close to Earth in the past, destroying Atlantis. Rabolu says that Hercolubus will come close to Earth again. He claims that humanity will only be saved by means of mantras, "astral unfolding" and Psychological Death. Nibiru collision originator Nancy Lieder has used Rabolu's ideas to bolster her claims.

In the real world, Barnard's star has been directly measured to be 5.98 ± 0.003 light years from Earth (35.15 trillion miles). At that distance, it would need to be travelling at ten thousand miles a second (an appreciable fraction of the speed of light) to reach Earth in less than a century. Anybody see the problem here?

So yes, basically more 2012 bollox.

Of course it is, but some people might be interested in a good science fiction novel every now and then.

That's true - but this isn't (in any appreciable sense of the word) good science fiction.

As Wearer of Hats says, provided it is good sci-fi. I'm sure this falls a bit short of being good. But point taken :D:P

Seriously mate, you really need to start discussing things. Saying "the government did it" is just not good enough. What makes you say this? Can you put forth sources? Do you have proof? What is your argument? Remember that this is a discussion forum. We would like proof, evidence, argumentation, at least once in a while. Thanks.
