Looking for info on a building: Cube Church

Hey I was hoping someone can help me. I am looking for info on an ancient building. It was sort of a cube carved down into a rock. I want to say it was a church or chapel and it was in north Africa or Spain. I am pretty sure its been on a few weird shows, Ripley's believe it or not. Any ideas of what I am talking about here? It may have been sort of red.

Any other weird ancient rules you can point me too is cool too.

There are many carved into rocks, this one is carved down into a rock:

Not sure why it would be on Ripley`s though..there is either a church or building......or there is not, no mystery.

The carved from the bedrock Ethiopian churches are what sprang to my mind, but I see that our knowledgeable members have already linked to them.
