School Time (for some)

Posted by Agent. Mulder  , 02 September 2009 - 04:21 AM

(Thanks in advance for reading)

Yes, it's that time of the year again. The time where teens and anyone over 20 drop to their knees, pray to whatever deity they believe in, reach into their pocket and close their eyes in hopes they were able to make and save enough money during summer to Buy themselves an education. Millions are denied this education and experience due to the lack of funding they have from the Immense funding schools apparently need in order to function. Sure, there are things like electricity, security, food, staff (student services, cooks, janitors) and professors. Now, we can't put on a hold on the electricity; we can't fire the janitors because of sanitation, we can't limit food staff and cooks, we can't shorten the student service employees as they're small enough as is it; and we know the Profs won't take any pay cuts as they don't believe in helping students by allowing them to learn unless they can still afford the starbucks every morning while they drive the Porsche. So what are you going to do? The answer seems obvious; make the student pay and take advantage of the young generation. They know we're desperate enough and we'll pay anything for the chance to get an education. And we do. The only problem is the leaders of our world spend they're time telling us we are the future, we will be the ones running the country, we will be with the ones making this world a better place. My question: How!? We can't ****ing afford to go to school in the first place! So how do they expect us to get an education and start running this country?
I'll be honest, I've been fortunate enough to have the finances needed to continue my education. However, if these prices keep rising as they have been, the number of students and dreams of school will decrease as the prices rise and shun our attempt to start running the country. All we can do is hope our world leaders change their statement to "I know you can't afford to go to school now, and you are the next generation, so we're gonna change for you". Sadly, I don't see that happening any time soon.

This basements cold, I'm leaving.
As you were.

I was just testing this to see how it worked.
Although, you can expect some ramblings or rants from me in the future (yes, I'm admitting they're rants. Thats more or less what blogs are).
