gus55 Posted September 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2014 Hi everyone. Would love some help from you talented people. My partner and I are continually losing keys this year. I know once in a while is 'normal' but the frequency of this is too much. At the moment we have 3 sets missing, 2 of which will cost a lot of money to replace. Any help to where the keys may be and why this is happening to us so much (other than a too busy a life) would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance

spud the mackem Posted September 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2014 you haven't lost them, you have mislaid them probably by putting them down somewhere while thinking of something else.
Lioness_Heart Posted September 28, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 28, 2014 You should consider putting a GPS tracker in your keys...

NakiahBurnes Posted October 1, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2014 The most important thing is ORGANIZATION! I used to loose my keys about once a week. So, we made a system with those clamp-keychains and a key-rack that seems to work well. Each vehicle gets a two sets of keys with a house key attached with each one. Another set for mailbox, poolhouse, garage keys, etc. with a flashlight. Every driver gets his or her own color clamps for the car/house key sets. And MOST IMPORTANTLY the cardinal rule: hang up your keys on your same hook every time you come in. No purses, backpacks, pockets or table tops! HANG IT UP! Works like a charm. The only time I loose them now is when I forget to take them out of the lock. #bornblonde
