Still Waters Posted August 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2013 Scientists studying the H7N9 bird flu virus that has killed more than 40 people since March said Wednesday they had discovered another H7-type virus lurking in chickens in China. Dubbed H7N7, the virus was able to infect mammals in a lab experiment, said the team, warning H7 viruses "may pose threats beyond the current outbreak". http://uk.news.yahoo...;_ylv=3#TwwSFcO
spud the mackem Posted August 23, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2013 Are the Chinese doing anything towards this problem, or are they just hoping it will go away. This seems to come up frequently and now they are blaming wild birds. One human death is to many but that doesn't seem to worry them as they have a couple of Billion and more to play around with.
