Draco5832000 Posted August 2, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2004 I myself had a run in with one at a girls camp. It was late at night and we were in a camping site in the middle of the forest. I live in Utah, so we weren't alowed to have a fire because of the drout. I am a diabetic, so the counsler and I left the other girls alone and we headed up to get my nightime insulin. as we were coming back, something ran past us. We didn't see what it looked like so we just decided it must have been a really big rabbit. But when we came back, all the girls were huddling together and crying. We asked them what was wrong and the told us they were being stalked by a large animal with glowing red eyes. I hadn't heard about the Chupacabra yet, but once I heard, I asked one of my campmates for a good description. If fit the Chupa perfectly. I'm not sure, but it's the only explaination I have. mr_halo Posted August 2, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2004 i live in the u.k, so theres no reports of them here, i imagine i'd be rather shocked if i was to see one though, hopefully they'll be a few good photos or videos of chupacabras soon... Draco5832000 Posted August 2, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted August 2, 2004 That's the funny thing about the Chupacabra. I don't think there are any real pictures of it. Although, I'm studying anatomy and I am piecing the chupa together so I can get a clear Idea of what a natural entity of that sort would look like. hunterkiller2001 Posted August 2, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 2, 2004 My step mother is from Vera Cruz, Mexico. She met my father when he went to cancun for a vacation (with another woman, mind you) and after a number of visits spanning a year, they got married and she moved into the states. She's seen what she believes is chupacabra. It scared the hell out of her, whatever it was and she gets to scared to talk about it in detail. I've shown her ever picture or representation I can find, and none of them match the animal she saw. Then again, I can't find any known animal that matches either. Draco5832000 Posted August 2, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted August 2, 2004 I myself was frightened, but not as frightened as my campmates who were stalked for around ten minutes. They were so scared I had to walk far behind them in order to protect them before they would go anywhere.

Draco5832000 Posted August 4, 2004 Author #17 Share Posted August 4, 2004 The picture is finished, of course, it's only a head portrait. I want to do it a piece at a time so it makes more sense. The only thing now is to figure out how to get it where you can see it. (I'm new on this site and am technelogicaly challenged)

SerenitysRiver Posted August 6, 2004 #25 Share Posted August 6, 2004 Just popped into the conversation. . . . . Red-eyes don't mean much in photography. I want the kitty! Well. . . only if its eyes glow red naturally. . . . which they don't. . . . which is the point. . . . .so yeah. . . . .shutting up now. . . . . Why am I not doing my summer reading right now?
