-1- A large area of land in the present North Sea got submerged a couple of thousand years after the ending of the last ice age
-2- This land was very hospitable. It appears to be something of a paradise
-3- Possibly the inhabitants were sea farers.
-4- Their country was whiped from the maps by a catastrophic flood around 6100 BC (it was already getting slowly flooded, but the giant tsunami did them in)
-5- Maybe the survivors spread to surrounding countries (Norway, the present UK, Holland, Denmark, and Ireland).
-6- Maybe these refugees settled in Ireland (amongst other countries), and were called the "Fomorians" by later invaders of Ireland
-7- The only flood legend pointing to that event that survived until this day can maybe be found in the Irish "Book of Invasions".
