And the success of such a lawsuit would cause doctors not to prescribe fertility treatments.

Medical mistakes are one of the leading causes of death.   And frivolous lawsuits are one of the reasons our healthcare costs are exploding exponentially.

There is not a child limit in the states.  The doctor did nothing wrong.    He didn't give her a pill with the number 8 on it so she would have 8 kids.

So the doctor is responsible for complying to his patient's wishes? It isn't illegal to have eight kids at once, and therefore being her doctor he must go with the patient's wishes. Besides, they weren't expecting that many in the first place, it just happened that way. Either way, it's still wreckless and stupid of her to want multiple other kids at once when she's already a single mom with 6 other kids. She may even be just using them as a way to get famous, who really knows? She should seriously consider the well being of the kids instead of selfishly hoarding up on them for herself to feel happy. Either way, the main point is it's her stupid decision, not his.

we support and pay welfare to thousands moms like that, in nyc alone, they don't have 14 kids, they have 6-10. boro park area alone, is full of such moms. the only difference, they pop 1 or 2 at a time, she got 8, that is why we know her, otherwise we would have no clue she exsisted
