IRS to use your medical records against you

If you wondered wether or not they would abuse obamascare ,its much worse than that .

If you have any kind of a psych history ,the IRS will use it for numerous things, against you .

This means if your husband died, and you were on sleeping pills and anti-depressants for six months ,to get over the NORMAL NATURAL hump,it will be used against you .

Anyone, besides your medical professionals ,seeing your private records ,violates more rules than is even fathomable .

If HIPPA has nothing to say about this,HIPPA should also be held accountable .

" The IRS can then use your health insurance ID numbers to acquire all your private medical treatment records and prescription drug records, all of which can be used against you to do things like have you declared "mentally unstable" for having a history of taking antidepressants."

With 1 in 10 Americans taking anti-depressants, this is not going to go over well....

That is terrifying. Seriously. I remember hearing they passed a law in Canada a few years ago that states they no longer need a doctors signature to declare someone insane enough for the loony bin. Very, very dangerous waters in terms of activists and whistle-blowers. Essentially a massive roadblock for democracy and critical thinking.

It's not much of a stretch to see where things will end up on a long enough timeline.

Your medical records should be private. The IRS has too much power over people. This is an area we need some new laws to stop this.

Our health insurance has gone up 200 per month so far due to Obamacare. We had to pay over 600 out of pocket for a medical device we normally would not have paid for due to Obamacare's high medical device tax. We were warned by doctors before my H last surgery to get it done by Dec 2012 because costs would go up under Obamacare if we waited until 2013.

I think the intention of Obamacare would have eventually saved each of us money. However, I don't think anyone who passed the law, read it/understood it fully and had any foresight into what it would all mean in the end for the avg American. A sleeping giant so to speak.

We shall see.

I wonder what the professional psychological community has to say about the accusations of the IRS making decisions by looking at our health histories.

I repeat again, I believe our health records will be used to charge us each accordingly for "unhealthy" practices and numbers (weight, cholesterol, Bp, etc). Which isn't so bad on one hand, yet could be incredibly prejudice, restrictive, and based on bad recommendations on the other.

Control and Homogenize!!!!! Bwahahaha

If you've been to the doctor recently they have new questionnaires that ask things that are totally none of their business. The nurse started out asking questions that are health related and then asked who I live with, which I did answer. She said these were the questions they are now instructed to ask. The next question was do I wear a seatbelt. I asked her what kind of question was that and how is it relevant? She said she was sorry and stopped

I asked my husband if his doctor's office had done the same. He said they gave him a two page questionnaire asking things like do you own your own home, do you have insurance on your car/home, etc. He couldn't remember most of the questions, because he refused to answer them and was in a hurry. When he gave it to the receptionist she told him to go back and fill out the rest and he said he'd answered all of the questions he intended to.

I haven't been able to find anything on the internet about this new list of questions. If anyone else knows I would love to find out.

I seriously doubt that. I think this is exactly what 0bama intended. His goal is to drain this country of as much wealth as possible and get as many people dependent on government as he can.

The last four years, I’ve screamed and yelled about Obamacare in this forum and others only to get shot down by true believers (and you know who you are). How much longer are you types going to refuse the truth of my statements? The IRS is trespassing into areas that are not its business. Is it going to start taxing us according to our lifestyle? Is it going to ration care according to our habits? Is it going to make gun owners felons? Is it going to be able to reach into the home and take our children because they don’t think we can raise them properly? Where will it end? The ballot box has failed us. We have failed ourselves. And only we can fix it. I have no more tolerance for party-line toting, koolaid quaffing, low information voter Socialists.

Maybe I WANT to smoke cigarettes, and eat lots of cheeseburgers and have a heart attack at 64....This is America, and I have the right to have...heart disease. :)

In all seriousness though, the government has no right to tell people how to live, much less, charge them for "unhealthy" lifestyles...

Makes you wonder who they are collecting this information for. It has nothing to do with your health.

I want to amend my former statement. I don't believe the end game here is to throw activists into padded rooms (though I'm sure there will be a few cases of that happening). Their language is money. They want to acquire as much of it as can be squeezed out of us, which is why I believe QC hit the nail right on the head...charging us as per our "lifestyle" is going to be the new norm!

What a world we live in

That being said -- I can understand from a healthcare perspective why this is an important step. American's are, per capita, some of the most overweight people on the planet. You can imagine the massive, massive unnecessary strain that puts on a nations healthcare system. If you hit people where it really hurts, (the wallet,) suddenly eating healthier isn't such a bad idea.

Note - massive amounts of opinion coating my post

The time is quickly approaching when many of us will tell many of them, “I told you so”. For that reason, I have that pot of crow simmering on the back burner.

IRS protestors go back decades, before any of us were born, the dreaded April 15th still lives on among some quarters.

Until what you believe comes true it belongs in the conspiracy theory section.

Yea thats what main stream said about the irs harrassing conservative groups. Thats what they said about the 2 billion bullets bought by DHS. Its what they said about DHS buying targets with children and pregnate women and elderly people. Just cause CNN wont admit it, that doesnt mean its a "conspiracy theory". The IRS has no business having access to our medical information. Can you at least agree on that much?

Can agree that there is zero proof the "IRS to use your medical records against you" or that it is "beyond illegal" (which doesn't make sense, something is either legal or illegal there is no "beyond illegal".

Can also admit that the naturalnews article is a long rambling article with other conspiracy theories and complaints all listed.

Can also see that when one is primed to think critically about one item, they will easily think so when presented with the next, whether proof or not is given.

Conspiracy theorists spend too much time mistrusting so that is their default stance when approaching anything else.

Can't enjoy the world that way. That is why others ignore conspiracy theory or just ridicule it because it does not lead to healthy lives. The next time one is angry and mad and wants it to stop...then stop beliving drivel.

Its a simple yes or no.

Yes, it goes back to 1913 but at that point to now, it was well described by and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. Which I swear is taken directly from Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing end them? But the bottom line is that up until now, the IRS has been an outrage that has been tolerable. But from this point on, it has crossed the line and in the next couple of years, more and more people will come to that conclusion as well. Especially when they start seeing the IRS begin to come into the home and maybe even the bedroom. Theyll be nothing to stop it.

Until what you believe comes true it belongs in the conspiracy theory section.

It is coming true as we speak. Do you need to wait for the dust to settle? Please dont act that naïve. Youre the kind that enables dictators to take control.

Quoting the Declaration of Independence and Shakespeare in the same breath is not going to make conspiracy theory any more true.

Why wait for the dust to settle in some improbable future? The "what ifs" of conspiracy theory will not wait but those of us in the politics and news section definitely should.

The tax protestors so far have done silly things like not pay taxes and go to jail or drive small aircraft into buildings.

Its illegal for anyone other then you and your doctor to access your medical records. The information required by the IRS will make it possible for them to do so. This isnt rocket science, and is more then easy to understand the concept.

Can also admit that the naturalnews article is a long rambling article with other conspiracy theories and complaints all listed.

The article didnt say anything that wasnt true, nor did it bring up unreasonable concerns. If you think it did, then bring them up and point out what you feel is incorrect. Otherwise please stop painting everything with your giant brush. Then again please continue. It only exposes you for the gatekeeper you obviously are.

Can also see that when one is primed to think critically about one item, they will easily think so when presented with the next, whether proof or not is given.

True. In the same way that one might be inclined to believe a known criminal may have commited a crime. Or in the same way a known lier may have told another lie.

Conspiracy theorists spend too much time mistrusting so that is their default stance when approaching anything else.

Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice, shame on me. When people prove themselfs to be known corupted liers, why would you believe them to be anything but?

Can't enjoy the world that way. That is why others ignore conspiracy theory or just ridicule it because it does not lead to healthy lives. The next time one is angry and mad and wants it to stop...then stop beliving drivel.

Talk to me about a happy healthy life when the dollar is worth nothing, and after they are done draining this country of all wealth. You cant base your beliefs on what makes you happy. Not at the expence of the truth.
