Still Waters Posted November 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2013 Plastic bags that can stop bread and cheese from going mouldy after just a few days have been developed by scientists. The technology, which uses chemicals that prevent bacteria and fungi from growing, allows food to last for longer. It could mean an end to throwing away supermarket bread after just a couple of days in the bread bin and cheese that remains mould free for weeks. http://www.telegraph...-developed.html
Oniomancer Posted November 3, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2013 Since I started keeping my bread in the refrigerator it doesn't go mouldy.
Delovely5150 Posted November 4, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 4, 2013 I just freeze mine and they last a bit longer. No need to keep bread and cheese for many weeks. Just buy enough to last for a week or two. Problem solved.
