I object to your slur and feel I must defend this poor man.

Why have a blow-torch if you can't get stoned/drunk and burn stuff you shouldn't be burning?

Was only a wee fire, anyway.

Your comment reminds me of what happened a couple weeks ago at my sisters in Kansas...  They live in the country and when i went up to visit for the day they were clearing their property line - trimming tree limbs, cutting brush, and even cutting down a few trees...

So there they were - on tall rickety ladders - set on soft ground - using chainsaws with de-limbing attachements (long extensions),  next to a raging bon-fire, in 100(f) degree heat with no safety gear, drinking beer...   What could possibly go wrong?
(fortunately nothing did)...

This is obviously a case of karma, deflecting back on the man for his misdeeds against nature.

They're spider webs. How about just a broom or really long stick??? Seriously. He saw spider webs and immediately jumped to a freaking blowtorch? I'd hate to see where his logic takes him the next time his steak is a little tough. "Honey, where's the chainsaw?!"

I wonder if a water hose ever crossed his mind?  He would have saved himself a lot of trouble......plus he would have been giving the plants a drink!
