MSNBC Anchor gets error messages over and over again!

I'm surprised MSNBC didn't just cut to a commercial. This is embarrassing! Your government at work!

They had 3 years to prepare! Look at this train wreck!

It's a good bet that the executive producer will get fired. Now everybody at YouTube can watch this over and over.

The government can't do anything right. No quality control.

Well you have to understand quality, timeliness, features and cost work out to be the variables in any software project. The Obamacare created a hard deadline of oct 1st. which made the timeliness the highest variable. You are going to be working on a fixed cost as the government quoted a number that has already been challenged and probably did not account for software development costs. The nature of the system has some big requirements to live up to the number of people who will be legally required to use it. What else could it do but suck.

The government often awards contracts to other government agencies for software, who then in turn hire subcontractors. That has an effect of keeping the architecture and design in the hands of the worst engineers. Yes I am saying developers who work for the gov are by and large bad, they would be employed in the private sector making triple the pay if not. Government oversight is poor as these people too are the cream of the crap. You often have three sub contractors who could each easily do the entire job each working on pieces.

They had 3 years to get their act together.

90% of Americans have already figured out how to " Game The System ".

The 20 year olds will just pay the cheap fine and spend the rest of their money on a new car!
