Asteroid skims over Earths atmosphere
Fat human skims teeth over beef-burger
Or possibly it’s a horse-burger

Conglomerates of money-makers gasp at Market Trends

Children play in concrete yards
Ready for home, homework and bed
Dream of play and freedom

Conglomerates of money-makers content at end of day

Traffic builds up over the bridge, along the highway
Gasoline and diesel fumes mingle
“The clouds are interesting to view tonight,“ says Mabel

Conglomerates of money-makers drink long into the night

Hand held out begging an old man with no sight
Young girl runs for all her might
Swallows duck and dive, survive

Conglomerates of money-makers fight to gain more might

Daytime News for all who view
Give weather updates and insight
What you can do with money earned to brighten-up your life

Conglomerates of money-makers say enough’s enough for today

In restful repose men die fearful
Anger frustration and dread linger
The world turns on it’s axle and

Conglomerates of money-makers wake to a new day

that's quite covers the terriable things greed can do to humans .. or that's how i saw it
but great poem none the less and amazing structure !

Allah, there is no God but He the Living the Eternal. no slumber can seize Him nor sleep

to Him belongs all that is In heavens and earth. who is there can intercede In His presence except what He permits

He knows what lies before them and what is after them. Nor shall they comprehend of his knowledge except as He wills

His throne extends over the heavens and earth

the preserving of them fatigues Him not and He is the most High and Glorious

This is a good poem. I've read it a few times now and each time it makes me think of the start to a movie. You know where they show different scenes of people going about their daily lives unaware of anything else happening in the world - well that's how it comes across when I'm reading it. I like it, well done Misty :)
