Apocalyptic weather, dire plagues

I’m baffled by the weather, how dreadful it’s gotten and really biblically correct if you want to look at it that way. I’ve came across some videos online; however, this one was an eye opener. Thanks to fidockave213 for vigilantly researching and posting these videos. Could it be science behind these extreme apocalyptic patterns such as HARRP, or global warming? My curiosity is never ending. What’s your opinion?

Sorry but I thought apocalyptic weather would be a bit more deadly? God just isn't trying anymore.

I used to be a global warming skeptic. Not really a scoffer, just not completely convinced. I am now convinced that we are changing the weather through the use of fossil fuels. I have no idea if this will be the cause of the catastrophic end time scenarios but they are less about weather and more about seismic activities anyway. Don't know much about HAARP except that it's mostly explained as benign technology and I've seen no proof to the contrary. Welcome to UM dablanco69. BTW try not to pay too much attention to RLYEH he's one of those who has a consistent beef with Christians just like I'm one who has a consistent beef with Muslims :w00t:

Most of those clips were pretty, well, ordinary.

1. The Dallas Hailstorm looked and behaved just like the one we experienced in Melbourne on Christmas day (approx 20 mins too). I guess storms with hail that size just don't sustain their impact for much longer than that. Anyway, hardly life threatening, just financially annoying even with insurance for some folk.

2. Putting the Melbourne 5.3 earthquake into the mix - lame. That thing cracked a few plaster walls and knocked some stock/books/ceramics off shelves, possibly dropped a few paintings but that was about it. I am about 60km from the epicentre, all I knew was that my staircase rattled for 5 seconds max.

3. The "plague" crops up and has cropped up regularly in isolated instances aka: a small handful of infections or one or two here and there - not exactly "epidemic" proportions.

4. Locusts are a cyclical phenomenon, history is filled with "plagues of locusts", so far, as an "army of armageddon" they have been dismal failures, I don't see that changing.

If this is the apocolypse, I think I'll have a few friends round for a barbeque and celebrate surviving "the end of the world".

Somehow, LibstaK, I think when the REAL spam hits the fan it will be unmistakable as a common event. No way to know when it will occur of course, but I think most people are looking for trumpets and heavenly messengers when in truth the earth is quite capable of putting on a horror show within the laws of "nature". I remember looking at the images of the Japanese tsunami last March and thinking THIS is what a Biblical event looks like....

Just so. I also think that every generation born thinks they will be the ones to witness the end of the world, so far they have ALL been wrong.

Granted, huge changes can and do occur (read asteroid killing off the dinosaurs and ice ages) but these are still totally unpredictable and as you say what the Earth and it's natural phenomena are capable of we have only a small portion of recorded and known history to set any bench mark to - just because it will appear to be of "biblical" proportions does not mean it is outside the realm of natural events.

frankly, if God's p***ed off I don't think it'll be something we can mistake for a natural phenomenon.

the overall change is subtle, like Ryleh said (post #2) but if you happen to be directly affected by one of these irregular events, you could be forgiven for going to that conclusion... (uhh, wait a sec' that came out wrong)

the thing with the bible is.. where you have these parts and it seems like God is endorsing slaughter and slavery and all that... to the people who just skirt the bible, that's enough to taint them on it.. and to be honest, some of the apprehension i can understand...

now consider this; how the book itself TELLS YOU to "test all things, hold fast to that which is true and good", it also tells us to be wise as serpents but gentle as lambs... a lot of people with discerning minds would be encouraged by those (and other) things... if only they would take a second look.. it's a picke alright, toss into the equation the [supposed] words of the christ "the one who is shamed of me... is not worthy of me" [and i'll tell you straight up - i'm not qualified to discredit any of that!? in fact, it's starting to build a pretty strong case in my mind]

ok, back to this weather... i found it funny how you brought the bible into the mix from the get-go (and that comes out wrong also?) ...uhh, what i mean is, *IF* you believe in the existance of technology that affects the weather , and potentially makes earthquakes.... then maybe it wouldn't be a huge stretch that maybe there are some powerful people on this planet who know the 'playbook' of the bible... and they're making sure it all plays out, you know what i mean,..?

..i still haven't figured this all out, but there is no way i toss the bible aside.

I think there are to many people that are out of touch with the real world anymore. people need to set down thier cell phones, turn off twitter, facebook, and stop getting everything they know from the internet. Go outside and spend some time out there you will find that the world and nature are a pretty wierd and strange place at times as well as beautiful. Everything in that video is pretty common mundane stuff that has occured for eons on earth. Must of that came from the TV news and quite frankly the news is only out to get ratings anymore so they play up the fear factor and blow things out of purportion to get you to watch thier channel or show.
