This Christian convert was one of the multitudes of Christian activists arrested by the security agencies of the Islamic Republic during Christmas 2010.In the so called courts of justice of the Islamic Regime; Mr. Fat’hi’s Human Rights, freedom of expression, and religious freedom has clearly, deliberately, and unashamedly been trampled and crushed.

FCNN (Farsi Christian News Network) quotes Haran News Agency from Tehran; Mr. Fat’hi’s six years prison termis upheld by Court of Appeal’ ruling.
Christian activist and House Church organiser, Mr Farshid Fat’hi, from Tehran, has been charged with: “acting against national security through membership of the Christian organisation Ilam, collection of funds, propaganda against the Islamic Regime by helping spread Christianity in the country”; and sentenced to six years imprisonment.

If anyone wants more information on the sad plight of Christians in Iran please check out this website;

Religious minorities, including Christians, Baha'is and Jews are routinely discriminated against in Iran.

Wouldn't expect anything else in a fanatical regime,seems a pretty bad idea to declare Christian beliefs here..

It would be darned inconvenient to say the least.  But Christianity has flourished specifically at such times and in such places.  It's here in the west where Christians have become lukewarm that the religion is stultifying.

The Jews in Iran live free of persecution. They are even represented in government. In fact, they have such good lives in Iran that they have countless times refused requests by Israel to relocate there, to shine a bit of perspective on things.

It's not that clear cut and they're certainly not thriving the population as gone from hundreds of thousands to a token 25,000

25,000 who are perfectly happy living there. The majority who have left over the years have been said to do so for economic reasons, not for reasons of persecution.

Happy people don't decrease in number year by year, Jews have made money out of poorer countries than Iran and as you know they're notoriously difficult to move.

Does getting funding from the US count as "making money"?

Israel isn't poor because of US funding. That's the only reason they are not on par with other countries in the reason.

The contributions in culture, science and industry that have been made by Israel FAR exceed their proportion of the world population.  They also FIGHT well.  While the Arabs... what was that they do again?  Oh yeah..hate.

Arabs have culture etc.

Only because they have been funded by a super power country. Fight well? Who care show someone fights?! What the hell does that have to do with anything?! If anything that proves they are barbaric. lol In fantasy or history.. barbarians always fought the best... The impression I get from "pro Israel" users on here like you is hate, hate and more hate.... But then people always pick up on the flaws of another what they hate about themselves... :whistle:
