3y3l3ss Posted July 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 12, 2006 (edited) These are pretty big. They're my first set of space scenes and im pretty proud of them. Dead System | Life Beyond | Peace I got a little lazy with that last one, the land and water masses of the blue planet look a little choppy. EDIT: Oh just wanted to say they were all made from scratch, with no tuts. Alot of people ask me about that. Dan'O Posted July 28, 2006 #21 Share Posted July 28, 2006 That is amazing Corecries! Nice stuff everyone. Excellent imagery there Feanor. In fact you inspired me to go to the NASA site and add some Mars imagery to a 3D sphere. I can now render the red planet from any angle with any light. Here is an example:
Feanor Posted July 28, 2006 #22 Share Posted July 28, 2006 Woa! Impressive. I love the starfield a lot! Which program do you use for this rendering?
Monkyburd Posted July 28, 2006 #23 Share Posted July 28, 2006 Part of my webcomic The shading on the planet in that last starfield picture is wayyy too soft in my opinion.
