Interesting thing that happened to me

Man years ago something bizarre happened to me. I am not trying to recommend Islam to people here but what happened to me is just out of the ordinary.

I will admit I smoked marijuana back then when I was younger and my memory doesn't lie to me. I went into the mosque and prayed while I was high . After I got done with prayer I grabbed a Quran nearby that was in English because I can't read arabic. The first thing that I opened which hit my eyes when I randomly opened the Quran was the verse that went similar to this "And do not stand in prayer while in an altered state".

I bet that verse is referring to the people who stood in prayer while drunk during the prophet Mohameds time but it can also be meant for me since I stood in prayer in an altered state. Alcohol was banned in Islam due to the people that read the Quran backwards while in prayer.

The odds of me seeing that one verse upon randomly opening that Quran full of 114 chapters is more than coincidence to me. In my opinion.

Most drunk people can't read well, they do well to walk and talk, I doubt they could read backwards at all.
