While exploring a creepy old Tower Block in the dark I hear strange noises coming up the stairs behind me.

This is the scariest Ghost hunting experience i've ever had.

What I meant to say was that it sounded like a poor attempt by a person, imitating a ghostly moan.

The scariest thing to ever have happen to me was when I was 13. I snuck up to watch dirty dancing after my mom had taken her medicine and passed out. We had a genie vase that the top was broken off from. Well, it floated about five feet off the shelf and heaved itself at me! I turned the tv off and ran and hid under my bed until the next morning!

Interesting. The moan sounded like a poor attempt to sound ghostly. Perhaps another person trying to scare you.

(When I was 9yrs of age) on a Saturday evening I saw something in the front room that both scared and amazed me.

My parents had gone out for a few pints with their friends:). My aunt was with me - out on the yard chatting with the nieghbour.

I was sat by the fire with some toy figures - star wars - when I suddenly felt an odd feeling. It seemed like I wasnt alone. I chose to ignore this odd sensation for as long as I could until it totally distracted me away from my toys. I then decided to speak to the empty room with some talk about `it` showing itself.

At first I saw nothing around me. I was hoping for a ghostly apparition, something spooky but I found nothing. I turned away from the TV and found myself focused on the lampshade. High above it in that corner came a face. (The wallpaper was a bland embossed magnolia affair)

A oval looking head with large black eyes, two slits for a nose and a large smile presented itself. I braved the image for a few seconds before looking away with controlled shock. After what seemed like forever I dared myself to look back and was glad to find the face was gone..
