They've been cutting for two days and it's too heavy?  It FLOATED there right?  I'm confused.

True, but ever try to move, say, a floating ship washed-up on shore? I guess it's not too easy.

Yeah..I wasn't thinking...  I remember a full sized Freighter washed up in Biloxi MS after hurricane Camille in '69 and it took them a very long time to cut it up and haul it away.
