I seem to remember other great agricultural works and mounds that were discovered by air in this area nearly a decade ago. It was said at the time that the enomourous earth-works done by these ancient people was comparable to any done today or better even.

Charles Mann in his book "1491" theorized highly sophisticated cultures in the Amazon. Most American Indian anthropologists and archaeologists agreed with him. Although there were the naysayers among academia. Now this is more proof.

The Guardian always has to sensationalize though and make it look like legendary El Dorado.
