Still Waters Posted September 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 2, 2013 It is hoped the pills could be used to cut the number of drugs that are wasted each year as well as alert family members if medication isn’t being taken properly by elderly relatives. Each pill contains a sensor that transmits a signal to a patch worn by the patient when the sensor itself hits the stomach acid after being swallowed. This patch then sends the data via text message or e-mail, showing that the pill has been taken. http://www.telegraph...e-the-body.html
Eldorado Posted September 2, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2013 (edited) Am imagining some poor woman receiving a text saying, "You forgot your last pill and now you are pregnant. Congratulations!". lol Edited September 2, 2013 by Eldorado
