Ghost or Thought Form?

First off, my apologies for my previous post, which was somewhat out of line. After reading a good deal of the posts on this site, I have somewhat mixed feelings...yet, to introduce myself as a "newbie", a little background: I have taken a 3 year certification course in Psychic Mediumship and Transcendental Meditation at the NYS Capital District Holistic Studies Insititute. This only means that I have somewhat of an "education" and some "experience" in these matters. However, while I believe strongly in the eternal spirit, grace of divine energy, and benevolence of the "creator", I do not believe everything that I see, read, or have been told is "true". Just making myself familiar ...that's all. You tell me what you think about this one: Ghost or Thought Form?

A number of years ago, my good friend and I were working for my father painting houses. We were working on an old house in rural Vermont (early 1800s). The former resident, a friend of my father's, had recently moved away and wanted the house painted as she was to sell it. My friend and I lived in NY. As the house was empty, we stayed there for 3 days and nights, for convenience sake, to avoid time lost commuting back and forth. The first night passed without incident.

On the second night of our stay, things got interesting. The house is a spacious 2 story. We camped out on the first floor in the living room. There was no funiture left in the house, so we slept in our sleeping bags. I fell asleep around 12:45 am - my friend had already retired for the night snoring away. Shortly after I fell asleep, I had a "Lucid dream" that a presence, pale white in appearance, and bearing human form, was standing next to my sleeping bag. I felt no threat from the form, but the energy radiating from it was quite strong. It seemed somewhat annoyed that I was there in the living room. Mind you, I did not see this physically, but rather, in my mind's eye clearly while "lucid dreaming" (look it up). I went back to sleep, thinking that it would pass...

About 45 minutes later, the same thing happened. The "form" appeared in my "dream" again, but this time was standing directly behind my head, in between my friend and I. I woke up with a start, my friend as well, vision of the form disappearing instantly. From the energy in the room, I knew this to be no simple bad dream. I stood up and discussed the situation with my friend.

After the second time I woke up, my friend informed me that he too had felt a presence and was seeing and feeling a similar thing in his "dream". At this point, there is a palpable thickness of energy in the livingroom: nothing has manifested physically and I feel no threat of harm or negativity being emitted by our "visitor", yet I feel that something needs to be done to alleviate the situation.

There is a lamp lit in the kitchen. The living room is slightly lit. The rest of the first floor and entire upstairs are completely dark. I stood in the living room for a minute or so and filled and expanded my aura outward with a blazing glow of golden white light. Then I walked throughout the entire first floor AND upstairs, in the dark, projecting this energy about me. After this, my friend and I discussed the situation again, I reassured him that all should be well, and we both went to sleep.

Shortly thereafter, while on the border of consciousness and sleep, a picture appeared in my head of stairs leading up to an old fashion, small white door. Now we get to the point of my story.

The next day, we were painting the master bedroom upstairs. My friend began painting the walk-in closet, the doors of which were closed when we entered the room. After opening them, he called me over, saying, "hey, take a look at this." I looked into the closet, and to the right side were the exact same stairs leading up to the white door I had seen in my "dream". I told him about it, and we, granted somewhat hesitantly, walked up the stairs, opened the door and looked across the attic to the sun shining in the window. There was no “presence to be felt, and the rest of that day was as enjoyable as it could be, painting a house.

Tell me what you think about this, and I'll reply with the end of the story...

P.S. Who's the poster from 2055? Ask them if the Oil and Gas Industries still have a monopoly on energy then and continue to stifle any popular availability of alternate renewable resources. In other words, what's the price of gas in 2055? $20.55? LOL tongue.gif

Thank-you ManweofHeaven . original.gif

I don't believe myself that all spirits are thought forms , I do feel that most experiences can be explained as a subconscious reaction to our environment but some are very definately real, and beyond what we call life is something different .

I also believe in re-incarnation and a cycle to life , if a spirit is trapped or cannot make it to it's next step in the cycle it may need a hand . There seems to be a need for people(mediums) who can help a spirit on to its next phase of exsistence .

Now, tell me. What's the next part of the story ? original.gif
