erinnn12 Posted September 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2014 I'm fairly new here and I just wanted to know how to get in touch with my psychic side and strengthen my abilities. I've always had deep gut feelings and ended up right about a lot of things and I had a dream about the Boston Marathon before it happened. I never thought anything of it because I never believed in psychics but I recently had a break up and decided to get a psychic reading because I was looking for some guidance and during my reading the psychic told me she sensed that I had a gift as well and that I shouldn't ignore it anymore. Nobody will be able to tell you the right way in life, as what is right for others will not work for you and viceversa. As for strengthening up your abilities you must seek your inner self in different ways than what friends or society will teach you. A lot of introspection is required. You need to spend more time with yourself, and analyze your actions. You must stay back and observe human manifestations, w/o intervene. You must appreciate nature and its simplicity as to understand the complexity of social human interaction and energies you will deal with in the future. Caroline Myss' book Anatomy of Spirit is good, and I love Dan Millman's book The Sacred Warrior. I also like Erin Pavlina's website. As someone else said earlier, though, ultimately, we all should learn to access and trust our own intuition and inner knowing; we should never give our personal power over to a psychic or medium, or anyone else who attempts to exert undue influence over us. But the other thing, which almost nobody mentions, is getting our heads straight, dealing with our fears, anger, resentments, illogical thinking, wanting to take revenge or get even, prejudices, judgments & criticisms of people, greed, all of those things often become barriers to developing our full potential. They distract us from our goals, divert our energy & focus, and often stop us altogether, not just in developing psychic talents, but in every other area of life, as well. I must say the the other things Beany spoke about are most important. How we choose to apply our efforts in life is in the end what will determine our success or happiness as they say. Empty your mind so you aint thinking thoughts.. Focus and stare on your centre of vision with your eyes closed.. Breathe in through your nose out through your mouth,or in and out your nose.. Don't breathe through your mouth when you meditate but its okay when you sleep or do anything else.. Buy some crystals that work with psychic.. Lapis lazuli tumble stone. Any help? also why your meditating doing that focus on a small circle area inbetween your eyebrows in centre and up about an inch.. You may feel the energy of your third eye after time.. Also you can stare up focused inbetween your eye brows for psychic abilities.. To but start of and mainly focus like there's a dot straight forward in the centre of your vision.. What you request it's seriously complicated , i dont really want to make a big discussion of it, but i wanted to mention that because someone charges for a service doesnt invalidate their abilities or discredit them. in this world it costs money to live, so for someone to give a big part of their time to give their gift to the world they need to recieve money to support themselves, or else they will have to spend their time working somewhere instead of giving their gift. if someone is going to quit working at walmart (or wherever) full time so they can help people, they still need money for rent, the bills keep happening regardless. and really to be honest if you have a gift and are good at it, you deserve to recieve too, just like an artist does. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lavender is good for moor than just relaxing babies! lol. It is also thought to open intuitive channels in the psyche.
