Not too distinct, and I can't claim to be any great expert on photography, but the witnesses reported that the lights seemed to change shape.

He did have that recording from a retired military intelligence officer, threatening him and his family, which was certainly disturbing, and the visits from the fake reporters. Pretending to be journalists and researchers is commonplace for intelligence officers, although they aren't supposed to do that in the U.S..

Strange contacts wit the Pentagon as well, telling him that these UFOs were not theirs but that they really existed and were nothing threatening--nothing to be concerned about.  It's true that they have never denied that UFOs really existed, only that they were a threat to national security.  Clearly they didn't want this story publicized, and my impression is that they knew exactly what these UFOs were.  My guess is that this was something being tested at the nearby base, and that it was unconventional.

i very much doubt that they'd have ever been allowed outside the confines of Houston or Edwards AFB, and very wisely too. It'd be just the same with any unmanned probe, in fact, even more so, since they weren't designed to be "flown" as such, just to carry out a pre-programmed mission profile.

LOL, if they were exactly the same, the landers would never land on the moon! The trust would send them back into space! Of course there were earth models, but they were essentially lunar landers weren't they? Were we not describing physical characteristics as opposed to performance characteristics? Perhaps I went of on my own tangent! If I did, sorry about that! I am not sure if you are aware of it, but Captain McAndrew of Rowell reports fame confirmed that a Bell Helicopter was carrying around a Lunar Lander at the Northern end of White Sands that very day. Seems rather a strong coincidence to me.

I think McG hit the nail pretty squarely on the head with that one, he (Quintanilla) was not very imaginative, and that really made him a square peg in a round hole. I think he was methodical, Venus showed up more than once as an "explanation" which I feel indicates that he may well have had a catalogue of "ready answers" he just needed to make the claims fot the criteria, and bam, answer ready. It woud explain Portage county i.e. lights in sky, light from X direction, light intensity was X, = Venus. No more required, but as we a know, nothing is as easy as 1+1=2 where UFO's are concerned. That I think was his downfall, I feel in a perfect world, his methodology would have been more valuable.

The Tantalising Testimonies continue.  Texas December 2007 and Ricky Sorrels is out in the woods and has a close encounter.  He stands underneath the craft for approximately 3 mins and is able to see it in detail.  I'm sure the clip mentions that he has a scoped rifle with him, but not sure if he used it to get a closer look.  He described the craft as massive.  Only a short clip this time.

Like I mentioned in another thread, Dr. Hynek didn't even report to him, but rather to the base commander.  In 1964-66, for example, the commander of Wright-Patterson was Gen. Arthur Exon, who was well-known to UFO researchers and also a good friend of Hynek's.

This is just more proof that other UFO investigations were going on besides Blue Book, and that they were much larger and more classified.

Ok guys, enough's enough with the pictorial rebuttals. Some people will come to conclusions based on more subjective means, others will want very strong objective evidence before concluding anything....this is just the way it is. Let's agree to disagree and move back on to looking at the available evidence, ok?

Any photo could be a hoax, and I don't know how others feel but my view has always been to rely on testimony.  That Belgian photo real or not makes zero impact on the credibility of the case.  We have testimonies from the Belgian Air Force both in the air and on the ground, a variety of police officers and members of the public over a wide area and over a period of time.  A hoax picture?  Maybe, maybe not but either way it makes not a jot of difference.  Boo you must really know this surely?
