Getting rid of the Shadows

dog soldier

Recommended Posts

I know there has been a lot of threads started about shadow people. I really would like to get rid of one in my bedroom. It has come to the point where I sleep with my bathroom light on. Or on the couch. I get not rest in that room. I do not remember seeing anything on how to get rid of them. I have tried telling it to go into the light and all that crazy stuff but it won't go. I really need some suggestions. Driving me crazy.

By the looks of your description, this shadow could mainly be something very normal. Sometimes, when i'm lying in bed at night, I open my eyes in the pitch black and see things as well. I stare it down untill it looks like something very abnormal. Eventually my imagination takes over and transforms this shadow into something very creapy. Possibly a person standing there, a weird looking creature. Yet then, at that moment, I slowly get up, staring at the shadow, flick on the light and discover that it was casted by my coat hanger.

Now, could you possibly try describing your shadow with a bit more detail? Shape/Form? I'd would be able to help more then. But, you should just close your eyes and try to forget the fact that it is there. I tend to hide under my covers! ;)

Hope this helped solve your situation.

I know it is not a normal shadow on my wall. It moves and changes shape. I also get the feeling I am being watched. Even when I read before sleep, I see it float around my room. The shape is very big. I often get chills. I know there are different types of shadow beings. I don't know which one this one belongs to yet. I often feel uncomfortable in that room. Even in daylight.

Forgive me, but it already sounds like you've made-up your mind as to what this "shadow" is, are you sure your not jumping to conclusions?

is it of the sneak up on you in your sleep variety?.......B Edited by Barek Halfhand

We would go on hikes and collect sage, then hang the sage branches up in the garage so that they dry out, then burn them like incense to keep the bad spirits away.

I'm not sure where that originated, it may be some sort of Indian thing or something.

The absence of fear on your part will destroy the shadow.

Try it. The next time you see this shadow, instead of you being the frightened one, jump at it cursing and attack it.

It will see that you have no fear and leave you alone.

Might take a few minutes to work up your courage, but this WILL work. I've done it.

Good luck :)

I have a friend, that I really do trust and believe. She has to have the most haunted house I have ever heard of! Her's is one of those old Civil War houses with tons of history. She has several different kinds of hauntings that have gone on there over the years. She has been able to clear all of them, with help, except for the shadow people as she calls them. She says they show up at different times of the day in the same 3 rooms of her house and everything tried has failed. Good luck!

Well, my post which was obviously skipped over will do the trick. Try it...or not. Just trying to help.

Good luck.....or maybe you really don't want it to leave?

She didnt clear the shadow people at all. SHe did get rid of what was called a couple of ghosts, a few spirits and one demon.

I'm not sure if she tried Thozz's plan. I will ask her the next time I talk to her. I have heard that you cannot show fear in anyway so maybe this would work. ( it worked on my ex,lol) If you haven't tried it you might as well. What have you got to lose but a shadow person?

Well I'm not an expert Jules, and maybe it's more difficult for women not to show fear in the face of something so bizarre.

But the minute I became angry, and lost my fear, the shadow guy, (who stood right by me looking down at me in the darkness), fled, and has never returned.

I simply jumped at him out of a loss as to what to do and said, "be gone in the name of Jesus Christ you son of a b*$%h"..

It quickly vanished from the corner of the window and never returned. You can't lay around every night and be terrified, so try it.

You have much power over these entities. They only want to fool you into thinking otherwise. They're weak. Humans have a great advantage over these entities.

You know that's a valid point. I wonder if a person's gender effects an experience? I guess it has to really. Especially with something that one perceives as menacing.

Thank you for your suggestions. Thozzman, I am not religious so using any kind of "Jesus Christ" won't work if I don't believe. I don't think getting out of bed and punching it in the head will do much either. Oh well, the couch it is
