How walking barefoot can affect your health.

- Have you ever noticed feeling better after walking barefoot outside? Recent research has an explanation for this. It's been proven that when walking barefoot around outside you are constantly taking in electrons from the Earth. The immune system needs these electrons to function more properly. Research has also indicated that these electrons feeding in through our feet have strong antioxidant effects that can take care of inflammation and many other common symptoms(physiological & mentally). Remember all the rugs, wood flooring, asphalt, and our very own soles of our shoes are keeping us away from these electrons that our body very much needs.

- Other enhancing effects that The Earth's natural electrons might have on one: Cortisol dynamics, sleep, Autonomic nervous system(ANS)balance, reduced effects of stress on the body, and blood viscosity(thickness).

- Feeling down and out? Barefoot contact with the Earth certainly wouldn't hurt. Try it out, you never know.. it might just be what you need. :)

Too much debris, I'm afraid. And shod people. Clumsy people. Walking barefoot in a city is more like hopping & dancing & shouting 'Ouch'.

That's why you take yourself camping and experience it on Earth's natural surface. Not some concrete that us humans like to pour over everything beautiful, aha. I'm no hippy, i just enjoy the finer things in life. :)

Add to that the fact you could tep on a needle, or bird leavings with worms in them or possum leavings that have a necrotic property to them....

That said, my students often go bout barefoot, I've even done so from time to time at work it's oddly liberating.

I look at life in a whole different way. Most people are out looking for the latest electronics while i'm over here trying to get back to my roots. There's so much forgotten knowledge like this. Just imagine what other things we are capable of that we are just to busy and or lazy to get up and realize. We were actually kind of taking ourselves back by inventing rubber-soled shoes and there are studies to prove it. Now look at all of our other technology.. How far back has it taken us? How much of an effect has it had on us? And one can only imagine the amount of radiation we intake daily due to cellphones, computers, tablets, microwaves, and the list goes on. And we wonder why our civilization is so stuck up and snotty. No one knows what real life is.. we get everything handed to us.. Food, Medicines, Purified water. Just think about it. ;)

This is just !ore made up new age woo woo. There is literally no evidence backing any of these claims and they get basic biology and physics wrong.

I sure did.

Electrons are electrons are electrons. None of them have any special properties other than being electrons.

Basically what you are saying is.. Electrons are just around.. and that's all they're for.. Is to be around. They have no specific point in this world? :tu:

To the human body, the movement of electrons and electrically charged particles are essential for even the most basic cellular processes. Every single physiological process in the human body is mediated by electrical force. DNA replication, movement of essential vitamins and minerals in and out of cells, muscle contraction, and nervous system signals all require electric force to make them happen. (no special properties though right) ...

I love walking on grass, sand and floors with just feet and no shoes.

Also I've discovered a really nice walking feeling... I've gone outside on the pavement with bare feet just to check something and when I've gone back indoors, walking on the carpet is really soothing and pleasant.

Having a walk in a wood with bare feet hurts though.

Don't let them get you down. There are many here who will not believe anything without a series of peer reviewed scientific tests.

Hey that's their own opinion, i know plenty of hardheaded people like that, so I've learned to deal with them lol. Plus i have about 10 pages of study that says different. And it's not an alternative news site either, they are all .gov legit studies done by legit Doctors/Scientists... Not some random dude in his parents basement trying to debunk everything. B)

Did I say that? No. I did not. My post was very clear. There are no electrons with special proterties. The electrons you could get from walking barefoot are the same as the ones you can get from static electricity or one of the million other ways electrons are exchaged.

Pay attention, genius. Walking barefoot isn't the only way to facilitate electron exchange.

You say that like it's somehow bad.

Is me telling him not to let other peoples rigid requirements affect his own intuition and feelings bad? Tell you what, take off your shoes and walk in the dew covered grass in the morning and tell me it's not refreshing. It may not be peer reviewed or provable to those that don't do it but that doesn't make it less of a real feeling.
