Hello!

IrishMoon

Recommended Posts

So I just joined and figured I should say hi and introduce myself. So hi everyone! I'm IrishMoon, I'm 20 years old, born and live in the state of Illinois. I've been interested in the supernatural since I was just a child, I come from a family of believers. I had several supernatural encounters when I was younger. I used to live in a house that I believe for sure had at least one ghost, possibly two. My current house seems to be ghost free so it's been a while since I've had any such encounters. Uhh some other fun facts about me: zodiac sign is Cancer, Myers-Briggs type INFP, am Christian but don't identify with any one denomination. So that's some of me, hello!

Welcome to the club, IrishMoon! Refrigerator's in the lobby, mark all food that you want to keep, and have fun! Scorpio, forget what my Myers-Briggs type is but it starts with an I, nonreligious.

Welcome IrishMoon. I hope you find your UM experience an enjoyable one. As a "believer" you may be surprised to find that many here will do their best to debunk, but that's how the truth is separated from the lies or misunderstandings. I urge you to stick around, posters here tend to be well mannered and well moderated.

I don't find it too surprising actually. While I'm a believer in the sense that I believe that aliens, ghosts, and others in the supernatural category exist, I also use a skeptical eye on such things. I believe they exist but I know not all, and possibly only a small amount of encounters are real and true. I've debunked some of my own encounters! I'm interested in seeing the different views members have here.

Hello to those who either check in with this beginners area or those who have just joined. I am a out of the box thinker. I weight things carefully before commenting. I write science fiction novels for a living, from time to time I look to the stars and contemplate 'things'... A passive question would be one like, 'where do we come from?' or 'why are we here?'. An aggressive questions would bode like, 'what connects us to everything out there?', or 'where's the keys (or maps) to why we are here?" Not to worry, I have a mind like a steel trap, you might find an avenue you missed by talking with me. Hello everyone, iamthewriter.

Have you had anything published? I love science fiction. Took a turn or two at writing myself. I've been known to churn out a tale or two in my day.

Welcome to UM.

Fair warning, everyone here is crazy. I'm not sure they're all real, either....

There's a lot of delightful and interesting topics here -- I love the news posts that the moderators select for discussion topics because they provoke such interesting conversations on my Facebook feed.

Greetings Irishmoon. Sorry to be so slow in my hello but I have been having trouble getting my computer out of first gear. I love your name and I am a big fan of the moon in any earthly location. I am sure that I would like it in outer space but I haven't been there physically yet. Enjoy.

Welcome Irishmoon... I've had a couple 'encounters' that I can't explain as well - not saying it was 'ghosts' but they were all pretty weird... Hope you enjoy your time here at the UM... Conga classes start at 3PM sharp -

don't be late the dancing mistress is very strict! - Bring your own tutu...

Welcome iamthewriter... I've also turned my hand to writting, but you know that statement they always use to put on novels that say "The characters and situations in this novel bear no resemblance to any person living or dead"?..

That was my problem!
