Still Waters Posted November 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2014 You enter, stooping, through a low stone archway, and all of a sudden you are in a different world. The weak afternoon sun lights up the central passageway, on either side of which stand beehive-shaped chambers alive with flickering candles. The walls are made of solid rocks and stones held together by their own weight. Welcome to the Long Barrow, a 75ft-long (23m) burial mound built not 6,000 years ago but earlier this year in a field in Wiltshire. http://www.telegraph...al-chamber.html
