Hello there i live In Puerto Rico and im gonna give you some info on a creature that is currently being sighted here its being dubbed the Gargoyle for its strong resemblence. The sightings started in late August of this year reports said it attacked a man and livestock people have said when they see this creature it leaves a strong smell of Sulfur. At first it was called "The return of El Chupacabra" but their is a difference the chupacabra didnt have wings while the Gargoyle does also the chupacabra sucks the blood of the livestock and leaves the body but the Gargoyle rips them to shreds. I really dont know what to think about this creature i thought since Guanica is so close to Mayaguaz maybe its an Owl that escaped from the zoo I really dont know but i do know this...In the 1950s 2 boys in Chicago were walking by when they say a creature that looked like Gargoyle they stared at it and then it swooped down at them. what do you think it is?

Whoa, I've never heard of this one. Smells like sulfur? This reminds me of the story of the 7 Youths of Columbia, whom were given a tour of Hell and Heaven by Jesus Christ. They described the strong smell of sulfur in hell. If this creature is real, could it have escaped or been sent from hell? Just a thought. Has anyone snapped pictures of it yet?

The sighting in Chicago is really interesting. I found nothing on the web about it; do you have a source for it, a link or a book, a nwspaper article...??

When you say Livestock being shredded , are we talking cows , sheep?......

And , are there any news articles , pictures , anything showing the bodies?.....If we are talking cattle , I would love to see more information....If we are talking sheep , I would say feral dog's.

I think people have a hard time proving any factual basis for their beliefs so they get defensive and they take any question as a direct challenge instead of just giving it some thought.

I think it's a 'glowbird' which uses the phosphur for illumination and also to dissolve a hole in the bones of it's prey so that it can readily suck out the soft nutritious fluids inside. New Lanark 'ghost' captured on CCTV. Fast forward to T=51 secs to see the left wing flapping.

A: gargoyles don't exist they are nothing but pretty guttering (thats not a joke the word for gargoyle comes from the same word as gargle and gurgle)

B: early chupacabra reports (from South America) sometimes it had wings

C: that video shows nothing.

There are a WHOLE lot of ways for something to smell like sulfur.  Not just, you know, being from hell or whatever.  Interesting tidbit; back in the day, sulfur (or sulphur, if you wish) was called brimstone.

Some people even smell like sulfur when they sweat.  Eggs, volcanoes, animal manure can smell like sulfur, broccoli can smell like sulfur.  Sulfur is used in fertilizers a lot.

Its very impressive that you get so much information about an unknown animal, even down to its feeding habits, from a B and W video shot in the rain at night that shows next to nothing. Im stunned
