Whilst this interview with Buzz Aldrin is a few years old now, I was wondering what all our ledgendary debunkers would say about it.
Come on folks, what did Buzz (one of Americas most respected astronaughts) and the other crew members see?. Swamp gas?, street lights?,

Anybody find the video where Aldrin explains how the editor of THIS video cut and pasted and clipped his comments to delude his target audience? Try and look for it. You don't need me to take your hand.

What were they? Candidates include SLA panels, maybe the S4B, maybe other spacecraft-shed debris.

'Moon pigeons' was what Flight Controllers called them. NASA even carried out a special study of what they might indicate.

Why don't the UFO promotional sites discuss that study? Coverup?

There are sooooo many reasons not to believe Ole Buzz.

1) He was very, very jealous of Armstrong. Armstrong was the first man on the Moon. Armstrong also won like 7 Tours de France.    Buzz feels insignificant when compared to Armstrong. Nobody cares about the 2nd guy on the Moon. He just wanted to feel important by claiming to see UFOs. We all know how respected UFOs believers are.

2) Ole Buzz was obviously paid for the interview. He could have gambling debts or multiple mistresses to support. We should check his financial situation. Check his taxes.

3) Buzz might be an astronaut, but he sure as hell ain't a professional astronomer! We all know astronomers are the smartest creature on earth. They are a special breed that has been trained since birth to look at the heavens. If you haven't been trained, you will not be able to tell the difference between a star and a pimple on your face. Trained astronomers also developed a love for Venus, the most beautiful goddess of all, a heavenly body   . Ole Buzz wouldn't even be able to tell it's Venus if she'd bites him on the ass.

4) They don't call him "Buzz" for nothing. He was obviously drunk. Unlike Armstrong, who was cool and calm, (the guy even came up with his famous quote on the spot! can you believe that?) Ole Buzz was obviously afraid. We have to understand that space travel was much more dangerous than it is now. Every mission could be your last. Buzz was consuming a lot of alcohol to drown out his fear.

You're obviously insane if you believe this man or any other astronauts. Very shady characters.

Buzz said they saw an 'object'. Fair enough. However to then extrapolate it was an alien space craft or some such is to fall prey to a logical fallacy. Asking 'what else could it be?' gives no real indication of what something actually is and relies on a method of ruling out everything else that could ever be possible. Which is to say, quite impossible.

It's those darn commie Russians, why couldn't they just leave space alone! Putting all their junks up there to fool Buzz...not cool!

I always wondered if buzz would spill it before he crossed over but that didn't happen.  You have to wonder if people like him who were "in the know" never said anything because mankind would be better off not knowing what the real deal is.  I want to know and at the same time I don't.  Someone wake me up when Ancient Aliens gets cancelled.  "As ancient alien theorists believe" good god how many times do they say that in each episode?  The big hair guy is super irritating, the other guy "childress" makes me want to slap him every time I hear his whiny voice and I just can't put myself through that anymore.

Ufo hunters is dead and as far as I can tell there are no good new documentaries on the subject of ufo's.  I have seen everything out there several times and it p***es me off a little bit when you have 10 shows about ghosts and nobody seems to be doing anything good on the ufo subject.

Someday, look up what Dr. David Baker had to say about NASA, astronauts and UFOs.

For the record, though, Baker was a scientist on the Apollo missions.

That says nothing at all about what these 'UFOs' actually are though so I'm not really seeing what you find about this that is supportive of your position? His statement seems rather noncommittal regarding the ETH in my opinion, which is exactly how someone who adheres to the principles of science should be, pending further evidence.

If they can't deny that he worked for NASA or really made such a statement--which is very unusual for NASA--then they'll just try to minimize its significance.
