Hormesis

The effects of microdoses have been known for a long time, and there are a number of examples that support the idea that very diluted concentrations of a substance will have a measurable and sometimes profound effect. Scientists call this phenomenon: hormesis.

Scientists from Michigan State University have shown how hormesis work in nature. They used microdoses of a fertilizer to stimulate crop production. In a dose equivalent to a 9x dilution, the fertilizer increased tomato yield by 30 percent, carrots were 21 percent bigger, and corn yield increased by 25 percent.

Our own bodies secrete minute amounts of hormones that have powerful effects. Thyroid hormone is present in our blood at only 1 part per 10 billion-yet this is enough to regulate the rate of our entire metabolism. Many animal studies show that low doses of some substances elicit a beneficial response while high doses are harmful. This phenomenon has been documented to occur with radiation, antibiotics, and heavy metals.

Pheromones

Pheromones are powerful aromatic hormone-like substances that creatures secrete to attract one another. One molecule of moth pheromone is so potent, it will attract another moth from miles away and trigger a cascade of physical reactions. Though well documented, the exact mechanism for pheromones remains unknown.

Homeopathic Remedies Work in Spiritual/Energy Plane and Not in Physical Plane

Homeopathic remedies are believed to work in the spiritual plane as opposed to the physical plane as we are used to think and measure. Hahnemann believed that dilution and succussion released a spirit- like power that worked on the spiritual level of the vital force in humans. We are familiar with the formerly invisible, immeasurable, unknowable energy forms, such as electromagnetic radiation and subatomic particles. Magnets exerted their force long before science could explain the mechanism. Physicists are still trying to explain gravity and the nature of matter, still discovering phenomena such as the "strong force" and the "weak force."

cool.gif thumbsup.gif    Some interesting new research on this... it actually has a name...!!!  it's called... PSYCHOBOTANY

Even though it currently seems difficult to maintain clear lines of communication within our own species, perhaps the notion of psychobotany can help to radically rearrange the way we think about communication in the first place. It may complicate matters for vegetarians, but expanding our capacity to communicate with other life-forms could plant the seed for a whole new breed of ecological alliance.

The Secret Life of Plants: Documentation of collaborative audio-video-performance sequences created for the feature film.

An account by Richard Lowenberg:

"In 1976, the producer (Michael Braun) and the director (Walon Green) of a feature film in-the-making, The Secret Life of Plants, arranged for a creative collaboration between myself, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and John Lifton, from London. John and I had been in touch on our shared creative backgrounds (architecture + AI) and creative interests (electronic arts and bio-sensing) since my visit to the UK the previous year. John had recently presented his very sophisticated, new audio/installation, "Green Music" at the Whitechapel Gallery, in London. I had been doing a project series, titled "Bio-Dis-Plays", with NASA technical support (multi-channel bio-telemetry systems), monitoring performers physiology (EEG, EMG, EKG, etc.) as inputs to audio and video synthesizers, in extended biofeedback-media artworks. At the time I often collaborated with Jim Wiseman, video synthesizer artist, as well as with a number of electronic music composers. I had just begun working with Tom Zahuranec, who was an audio technician at Mills College, and had been doing (GSR/Backster Effect) plant-audio synthesis interface works since 1972.

Christopher Bird, co-author of the book, The Secret Life of Plants, and I had corresponded, and in addition to putting the filmmakers in touch, he recommended that I meet Henry Dakin, in San Francisco. Henry had a building on Washington Street, in Pacific Heights, housing his independent Washington Research Center. He offered his help and his basement lab facilities, which included a large Faraday cage/room and electronic equipment, for creative and technical development of sequences that we would prepare for The Secret Life of Plants film. Ultimately, two plant-music on location sequences were scripted/created, to be included in the film.

Over the course of four days in June 1976, while open to the public, six large plants in the center of the glass Plant Conservatory in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park (modeled on Kew Gardens, in London), produced an audible, live musical score, based on simple bio-electric sensing of their responses to light, temperature, movement and other physio-environmental factors (gold needle electrodes at the base of the stem/root). This was John Lifton's new variation of his "Green Music" composition. Amid the 'tropical'garden stood a five foot high rack of audio and digital processing systems, including the just purchased, Altair 8800, which John was constantly (re)programming (Machine Language). The film crew did their set-ups and shot sequences as needed over the few days.

In July, the production moved to a large sound stage (World Stage) in Los Angeles, for a more elaborate performance sequence which we had designed/composed. The choreographed audio and video performance would build incrementally, from one plant up to six monitored plants, while adding from one to six dancers wearing EEG and EMG sensor/transmitters.

......... a sound track by Stevie Wonder becoming its legacy.

Planted some seeds and one came up..then was telling it how beautiful it was as it was growing..I turned to my sister and said 'if it knew we were going to eat it would it grow nicely'..guess what 5 more plants have come up since that one did..and they have grown almost 2x's as fast and thicker  as the one I said that about?? wow..maybe they do know what we say.

'Telepathic' Genes Recognize Similarities In Each Other

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/...80124103151.htm

The authors of the new study carried out a series of experiments in order to test the theory, first developed in 2001 by two members of this team, that long pieces of identical double-stranded DNA could identify each other merely as a result of complementary patterns of electrical charges which they both carry. They wanted to verify that this could indeed occur without physical contact between the two molecules, or the facilitating presence of proteins.

Previous studies have suggested that proteins are involved in the recognition process when it occurs between short strands of DNA which only have about 10 pairs of chemical bases. This new research shows that much longer strands of DNA with hundreds of pairs of chemical bases seem able to recognise each other as a whole without protein involvement. According to the theory, this recognition mechanism is stronger the longer the genes are.

The researchers observed the behaviour of fluorescently tagged DNA molecules in a pure solution. They found that DNA molecules with identical patterns of chemical bases were approximately twice as likely to gather together than DNA molecules with different sequences.

Professor Alexei Kornyshev from Imperial College London, one of the study's authors, explains the significance of the team's results: "Seeing these identical DNA molecules seeking each other out in a crowd, without any external help, is very exciting indeed. This could provide a driving force for similar genes to begin the complex process of recombination without the help of proteins or other biological factors. Our team's experimental results seem to support these expectations."

The secret electromagnetic life of plants

http://www.cogreslab.co.uk/plants.asp

In collaboration with Sir Oliver Lodge Newman tested the system in an eight hectare (20 acres) installation at Evesham, reporting 24-39 percent increases in wheat grain yields, which also produced a superior flour. The universities were not slow to investigate these early successes, and studies at Bristol, Leeds and London University all appeared to confirm the effect. This gave rise to the Electroculture Committee, established by the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries in 1918. Tests at Rothhamstead used field strengths of 20kV. with wires spaced between 1.5 and 11 metres apart and hanging from wooden posts 2-4.5 metres above the plants. These trials established that the treatment was most effective when given at an early stage in the growing period.

At this point politics seems to have reared its ugly head: of the 18 reports on electroculture prepared by the scientists involved, only three were published, the remainder marked "not for publication" were seen by only a restricted audience. Their absence from the literature led people to believe that the trials had not been successful, and by the late 1930s interest in electroculture had largely evaporated, partly due to a lack of any conceptual framework to account for the increased productivity. US trials had, moreover been unable to replicate the UK successes, possibly because they had used autumn wheat rather than the spring wheat usedin the British trials. The work of the British Electroculture Committee ceased in 1937.

More recently there is some evidence that exposure to electromagnetic fields has a beneficial effect on plant growth via photoperiodism. L.E. Murr in 1963 published a study in nature reporting plant growth in response to electric field exposure, and A.P. Krueger, a pioneer in the beneficial effects of negative ions on human health, proposed a mechanism of air-ion induced growth stimulation in the International Journal of Biometeorology the same year.

I am conscious that it is not possible to do justice here to the immense body of literature which has quietly accumulated on the exposure of plants to electric and magnetic fields, and indeed the emerging research on the fields emanating from them. Given that plants are the only means whereby solar radiation is converted into the starch and sugars which are an indispensable requirement of organic life, and against a background where conventional fertilisers are failing in their objective, such research is long overdue for publication.

It is not generally known that mitochondria in animals constitute nearly half the dry weight of our bodies, and that furthermore these mitochondria have their own quite separate DNA and genetic code, as if once they were a completely separate life form. When it comes to survival, we are almost totally in the hands of the mitochondria inside our cells, and each cell might contain as much as a thousand mitochondria. For these at least some regulatory intercommunication might be useful.[/sup]]

Quote

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_mitochondrial_genetics
Human mitochondrial genetics is the study of the genetics of the DNA contained in human mitochondria. Mitochondria are small structures in cells that generate energy for the cell to use, and are hence referred to as the "powerhouses" of the cell.

Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) is not transmitted through nuclear DNA (nDNA), and in most multicellular organisms, virtually all mitochondria are inherited from the mother's ovum, as it is unusual for sperm cells to contribute mitochondria when fertilising ova.[1]

thumbup.gif cool.gif  Hence it may be why 'Mediumship' or 'psychic ability' is said to be passed down thru the female line!!!

So maybe we need to study Human mitochondrial genetics to start exploring how the psychic ability telepathy  works....

Psychobotany? Seriously? Like, psychotic plants?
That's sure what it sounds like to me, honestly.

  Chemical cues also resonate vibrationally...

Food contains molecular compounds of amino acids, complex carbohydrate chains and various chemical elements, each having their own unique frequency or vibration. It is the vibrations of the nutrients that raise the vibrations of the body's tissue. Pesticide and chemical laden fruits and vegetables, as well as animal protein contaminated with antibiotics and growth hormones, have chaotic vibratory oscillations that act to derail the high coherence of our nutritional energy needs

Popp used highly sensitive light-measuring equipment to monitor the light emitted by living cells. He was able to confirm that living cells emit small bursts of light. He determined that cells do not just radiate light, they also absorb light. In fact, the storage time is relative to the quality of the cell. Therefore, a healthy cell will store light the longest, while an unhealthy cell will give off the light in a shorter time.

The most basic sub-molecular component of our body is made up of particles of light called biophotons. These biophotons, traveling at the speed of light, make up the electromagnetic frequency patterns that are found in every living organism. This matrix or field of frequency oscillations or resonance specificity provides the energetic switchboarding behind every cellular function, including DNA/RNA messengering. Cell membranes scan and convert signals into electromagnetic events as proteins within the cell's bi-layer change shape to vibrations of specific resonant frequencies.2 Every biochemical reaction is proceeded by an electromagnetic signal. Cells communicate both electromagnetically and chemically and create biochemical pathways that interconnect with all functions of the body.

It has been documented that DNA repair can be activated using a frequency of 528hz

What is the history DNA music?

DNA music has been developed since the early 1970's when Geneticists found it easier to read the long strands of DNA code by assigning musical pitches to the 22 Amino Acids. This allowed them to compare DNA, look for mutations, and reverse engineer these tones back into proteins. This opened the way for more musical scientists to develop the system further until today where DNA music is now being taken very seriously by composers and musicians as a new form and medium of the music industry.

You may be interested in reading a new book called The Source Field Invesigations by David Wilcock. He discusses the Backster Effect in chapter 2, but the book as a whole is about this "Source field" around us, which physics is begining to prove exists, which can transmit thought, feelings, help you manipulate matter, basically, it is what allows all the psychic/metaphysical stuff poeple have been arguning about for years to happen. Its very interesting. Im only on chapter 3 but hooked already. Happy reading    :tu:

I used to be able to see the energy of people, animals and plants.  It wasn't auras, it was more like what you see with magnetic lines of flux.  It's basically a bunch of lines coming out of an individual and going out in an arc with the other side connected to another part of the person.  These lines would interact with one another and also with other individual's lines.  Sometimes one person's lines would push the others lines away, other times they would be attracted to one another and sort of tangle up, and every once in a while they would combine and make both stronger (I am guessing this is the case for people that instantly really like each other and feel like they have known each other forever).  People have a lot of these lines to where it almost looks like a doughnut with the person being the center.  The same thing, to a much lesser extent, happened with plants.  while there were a lot less lines of energy, they reached out a lot farther, or at least for trees.  The smaller the plant, the less distance the lines would reach.  The energy from the plants would connect with one another, just like with people.  Due to health problems, pain and sleep problems, I've lost the ability but it was very interesting to see and made me realize that everything really is connected in one form or another.  I do think that there is a not understood form of communication between plants, animals and people.

Personally seen this with trees. I've felt their field extend and open out like an umbrella as I have walked into it. One old oak near me I have seen extend out 50 yards or more. If you were to view this multi dimensionally then it would look like the dougnut you mention. The arcs are really full circle circuits going into the earth and back up. When they are more closed up their field extends upwards into a long narrow bandwidth, top to bottom. So yes they are actually very similar to the fields around humans too.

Yes, that is the same as what I have seen.  If you look at how electricity flows through wire, and the magnetic field it causes, it is the same idea.  Energy in motion causes a magnetic field and I think that is what I am (or we are) seeing.  I am not 100% sure about this but who is ever 100% sure about stuff like this anyway?
