Atlantis Discovered next to Cape Verde!

Recently scientists associated with the "Scripps Intstitution of Oceanography" released a overlay for "Google Earth" that adds new imagery to the ocean floor. Using this new overlay I believe Atlantis can be found among the Cape Verde Islands off of Africa. See my YouTube video for more.

Apparently not:

For example, the updated, more precise data corrects a grid-like artifact on the seafloor that was misinterpreted in the popular press as evidence of the lost city of Atlantis off the coast of North Africa.

This blur is the city harbor. And this blur is the city wall. And see this blur? It's a boat. All these blurs together make one giant island of bull$%#@.

Not only is this wrong, but has been wrong for two years now. I think you're thinking too small. I think you should try to prove the Aristotlian universe is right. Then you'd have even more wrong and more history to turn over.

Is there anywhere at this stage that hasn't been touted as the location of Atlantis? At least it's not as far out there as the claim I remember reading that Atlantic was on Mars!

Nope. Still buried under the New Jersey pine barrens.

Why not? :P

You want to go to this site for the three new overlays.

http://topex.ucsd.edu/grav_outreach/

Which are gravity related and not the same thing as bathymetric features suggesting the existance of anything remotely like Atlantis.

Nonsense! Everyone know that it's buried under the home plate of the Giants Stadium, along with Jimmy Hoffa and the REAL Elvis!

So you are saying that Atlantis is made of the fecal matter from bulls - Interesting you should say that, Atlantis was known for its bulls. I think you are on to something.

Now we just have to find that giant pile of bull excrement. :P

Oh no the dang place has been 'found" again. Well scrap together a couple hundred thousand grand and go drop the cameras down. Let us know what you find......

I believe that area had a break off or collapsed 35,000 years ago, so it could not have been Plato`s Atlantis

It would be much simpler to compile a list of places that have not been claimed to be the location of Atlantis.

Hmmm ....

When I think of one I'll post it.

New Jersey. Cromac likes to point out Atlantic City.

It must be one of those two, or perhaps Bismarck, North Dakota.

My brain must be failing. No one ever assigns Atlantis to North Dakota.

Ahaaaa. That's it. Atlantis is in North Dakota.

All of that oil drilling going on there has to be a cover story for finding the lost glories of that fabled city.
