"Lets Play Dead: You First."

Lay down relax, it's not like theres a boulder on your head.

Your not alone with me, without a shoulder or dead.

I'm secondary in fear to your cry in pain.

I'm first to your thoughts I die in vain.

Lay down when you have nowhere else to go.

From a bleeding heart, blood has somewhere to flow.

It's clearer and clearer as you look up into the sky.

I'm not only beside you, I'm a dying kind of guy.

As you'll find with those with passion escape death,

I don't waste time with every breath.

I can lay and play the same game from below,

from above are my uprooted things I let you know.

Muddy waters are a treacherous hold,

on your body as you lay and the dirt will fold.

The trees grow and throw leaves all around,

when a tree falls does it make a sound?

It takes time to sacrifice those you love,

or those over a cliff you will refuse to shove.

Time is an endless portrait we choose to paint,

death is the artist without losing restraint.

Filling in the holes our bodies are too deep,

above us someone isn't shoveling, but is to reap.

But, what if that somone is actually no one? If I lay down will I be grim too?

Am I the one with the shovel before you?

I stare into the sky the same as a stranger. I feel the shovel the same put my life in danger.

The sky ever turning gives way between the stars. Without the sun, your phone loses it's bars.

Call on me if I am your only and last friend to rendor.

Call me if thats all you have left to surrender.

I will lay next to you for as long as may be.

But like you my soul needs to be free.

The shovel is digging on it's merry way. Please get up because I don't want to stay.

Get up I will help, lets walk along.

Around this lonely path, no right or no wrong.

Pretty cool huh? This will be my 2000th post!
