So if you can't make a million a year it's not worth working at all? if you can't have everything you want it's not worth it? We don't make huge changes to the economy on that scale. It's self defeating. But a minor change to the Minimum Wage is appropriate. It's not a choice between zero and 45$. The limits are why they only want to raise it the paltry amount requested.

You forgot a few items.  Obama now has the right to kill, enemies of the state.  He also threatening reporters who don't report it the way he wants them too, this is on CNN and Fox News.  For those who don't know, enemies of the state are those citizens who speak againstthe goverment.  This will not be restricted to the battlefield.

Aren't the evil business owners people too? Shouldn't the government stand up for them also? Minimum wage jobs are starter jobs. There are stepping stones to better employment, not the final goal. Working as a cashier/cook at McDonalds is not supposed to enable you to raise a family. If you apply yourself you can move up to management, which will enable you to raise a family. If you are happy working as a cashier/cook at McDonalds for the rest of your life and desire nothing better for yourself perhaps you shouldn't raise a family.

The lacol papper here sayed that they wouldn't as many young people.  This was when minimum wage went up $7.

What do you think causes inflation, it is the price of things going up.  Such s employmet costs ad higher taxes.  Remember most rich people don't do anything here they can't make more money.  So with that in mind ask yourself why Bill Gates amongst others wants taxes to go up.

we currently has such low inflation and taxes, that is not a problem. A little increase in the min wage will not have a huge impact.

hmmm. I'd say The Affordable Care Act. Stimulus of green energy companies. Keeping the country afloat during the worst economic recession since the Great Depression. Drones. Getting out of the decade wars. Libya. Benghazi. Insane Republicans. Much different style than Bush. Mass appeal to a much younger and diverse demographic. Illegal immigration handled. OBL gotten. other stuff.
