If these things are true... wow! If they are just passing fantasies on the internet, sorry to alarm. I believe the signs are all around, and the moment is upon us here in the USA. It will only take a spark. The real people are awakening and ready to live the new world life. The Age of Aquarius... is coming out of the closet. Openness is shining a spotlight on the close-minded. They will run and hide and die. Don't mean to be dramatic, but there is definitely an awakening going on... not religious, but spiritual and intellectual and creative.
I guess the loosest term would just be an age different from the last. So in the loosest terms, we could consider this age of the internet, the 'information age' the new age. But then there will always be a newer age. But I think people are thinking of a more drastic changing of ages, like a new type of thinking/living/being etc.
Just a friendly note _Only. The two Ages you mentioned are not the same. The "Information Age" is the one we are now leaving, the 'New Age' is the one we are entering. I remember the term being used often in the 90s when home computers, and the internet, were becoming popular, although there where a few computers around before that (no internet). I never knew anyone who had one before the 90s though. I guess it was the very wealthy who had them.

I got my first computer, a sinclair ZXspectrum, for christmas in 1982. it had a 16kb memory (which is less than the size of your signature photo!), and at the time, it was the dog's b*llocks!
I don't know how much it cost, it was a christmas present, but my mam and dad were never what you could call 'very wealthy....'

Define "a new age"? I mean are we suddenly, all by itself, become better people? More compassionate, nice, friendly, enlightened, etc?
That's just a big pile of bovine excrements. Change needs to come from us, we cannot do it via "a new age" or via someone else or via a sect or via intervention of the holy spirit....
