Our Beavers Built a Dam Visible From Outer Space First discovered by an environmental researcher using Google Earth in 2007, the dam is located just inside Wood Buffalo National Park, the 2nd largest protected area in the world. I can't believe they actually tried it! I looked at that one and considered the intelligence of the makers, but I could be too harsh in not knowing the science behind it?!
