I'm looking for a ghost video that starts out with a cup, black background and a man narrorating in japanese. Then it shows a family at a table drinking tea or something with someone sitting on a couch in the background. The person in the back gets up to leave revealing a oddly shaped head. I have been looking for this video for a while. Thank you all for any help you might be able to provide.

Welcome to the forums.

I have not seen the vid you're referring to. Perhaps someone else here has and will provide a link.

Have you tried going to Youtube and keying in Japanese demon, or Japanese ghost? Might take some looking through, but you might find it.

.
Many Japanese YouTube vids have titles in Japanese ,and cannot be searched with regular English . This is probably one of those.
Let me get the word for demon in Japanese .
It's oni when romanized ..hold on

Sorry.I don't have Japanese fonts on my phone. I have to type it out on a Japanese word site and get the Japanese .
Oni can be written in kanji or hiragana .

Oni generally means demon or can mean evil restless ghost . Oni masks are quite iconic in Japan ,and appear in Noh and kabuki quite often
.

Kanji

おに
Hiragana

Copy and paste the symbols into a YouTube search

You might also want to try searching the word ghost

Yurei

幽霊
Kanji

ゆうれい
Hiragana

There are other words for very specific kinds of ghosts . Cat ghost ,vengeful female ghost .A lot.
So it could be many words .

Hmmmm.I searched oni with the kanji, and its the same kanji the Chinese use,so many Chinese videos came up too.

Using the hiragana didn't help ,because おに starts a lot of other words . So vids with just those two letters came up .
you need the full title of the vid in Japanese .

I found this. It appears to be some sort of ghost program from China.
The narrator is speaking mandarin .
It's 44 min long, and I only watched the first video they played ,but its a guy on a couch in Japan (that vid is in Japanese),and there's something in the video with him.

There seems to be numerous episodes of the ghost show too .

I don't even speak Chinese and I can tell that show is horrible.

Is it really called, "Oh my, Mom!"?

Well its in mandarin .Mainland China tv is communist tv ^_^
I don't know a lot of mandarin . Kanji is kanji ,and many kanji in Japanese came from the Chinese so ...

I searched for demon on the couch ,in Japanese ,and that's what I got .

I think its probably more like MOMMY !!! ,like a kid exclaiming in terror . It just translates to oh my mom .

Remember,written chinese is a pictorial language  .

Least with these shows they save me the hassle of slowing down the videos.

Yes these are fake, You can tell easily by the cameras focus. If the ghost is more sharper in detail than rest of the video's quality then most likely it is faked.

It is easier to claim it is paranormal than taking the hard route and find out what really happened.

Oh no.  Like I have 45 minutes of my time to watch this?

My daughter already makes me watch all types of untranslated Asian stuff because she studies Japanese.
