AN Indonesian 'ghost ship' has been found adrift in Australian waters with tonnes of rotting fish abandoned in the hold, The Australian newspaper reported today. The vessel, the High Aim 6, was spotted by a Coastwatch surveillance flight recently adrift inside Australia's maritime boundaries.
However, when HMAS Stuart intercepted the trawler 80 nautical miles (148km) off the coast of Broome on January 8, no crew members were left aboard.
