Silmiss Posted November 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2014 I know that on the topic of Lucid Dreaming there is preprogramming a dream. Would I be able to preprogram something that will trigger my consciousnesses, such as a guy telling me I was dreaming or something that made no logical sense? If I'm able to, how do I preprogram it? SolarPlexus Posted November 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2014 Can u be more specific .... dreams use your reality as a foundation for constructing a dream. Jung called this 'residue of the day'.
Silmiss Posted November 30, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted November 30, 2014 Can u be more specific .... dreams use your reality as a foundation for constructing a dream. Jung called this 'residue of the day'. I've noticed that with some dreamscapes that have some tweaks to the real-world landscape. I found the answer. I have to do the WBTB method, and when I goto sleep I will daydream, for example if I was in my house I would paint "LUCID" in big letters on the wall, then give into the daydream. Then, I'll be like "Huh? What was I doing again? Oh yeah, I was trying to lucid dream!". If anyone has anything to add onto this, please tell me if I'm wrong
