I won't bother explaining but do any of you sit and listen to sad songs? Does it help? Please suggest some.....thanks.

Pretty much any song written in D minor does it for me. After all D minor is the saddest of all keys.  :ph34r:

Sad songs just make me depressed. I try and avoid them.

Every once in a while, you do need a good sad song session, possibly with some bawling.  It does make me feel better, though not immediately.  

Personally, and I hate to admit this, but almost anything off Kelly Clarkson's 2nd album.  :ph34r:

Pink - Who Knew ... always gets me bawling.  It reminds me of the brother I lost. :(

Geez, I actually have a playlist for this at home.  I'll get back to you later with less girly songs. :lol:

It's the most depressing album ever made in my opinion, but it's very good and ends on a positive note. Usually I don't listen to sad songs when I'm sad cause it just makes it worse, I have to be in a really particular mood for stuff like that.

i don't intentionally sit and listen to sad songs, but there are a couple that make me cry.
one is Jim Croce's New York's Not My Home. gawd i get teary eyes every time i hear it.

Yes, I know the cranberries. The cause? Geez, I'm not sure I know the answer to be honest with you. Alot of bad things happened to me so I in return did alot of bad things. All I know now is I'm away from home in a town where I know almost noone and I have nothing here. I have no family or car or a purpose it seems. I guess the cause is being alone. Sorry.
