An article in Monday’s edition of the influential party journal “Seeking Truth” described online criticism of the party and government as “defamation”, while Chinese-American investor and internet personality Charles Xue appeared on state television in handcuffs on Sunday to praise new legislation that in effect criminalises online dissent. Clear result of why you shouldn't trust Communists. Ever.

spud the mackem Posted September 17, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2013 If the Chinese want to be anti-social that's ok,but one of these days their people are going to get real humpty-backed and Rebel. Does anyone know what happened to the guy who stood in front of a tank,in Taianaman Square a few years ago. Perhaps that's why they have a million strong Army to stop guys who are brave enough to speak out.

The truth of the matter is no one knows exactly what happened to him. It's entirely possible he got silenced via labor camp or execution. And perhaps that is why they have a strong army.
