IMO, Frusciante is the most underrated guitar player I have ever heard. HOW YOU GONNA CUT OUT A PICK SLIDE LIKE THAT?!?! I'll be honest with you... this is one of 4 songs that will make me openly weep if I'm alone and really listening closely. The guy who taught Walter Becker of Steely Dan to play guitar.. The guy who was supposed to be the second guitarist in The Jimi Hendrix Experience.. And whom Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin ripped the basis of 'Stairway to Heaven' off of Spirit's song 'Taurus'; Zeppelin opened for Spirit in 68-69' and covered their song 'Fresh Garbage'.
