Okay lets be honest here, we are human and we ALL do stupid things at times and as far as age is concerned it doesn't matter how old you are. Especially for guys and a prime example of that is Jackass. Yes they were all told several times not to mess with it and he didn't listen but he didn't deserve to die...maybe getting kicked off the party bus he deserved but not to die BUT his lack of respect for authority ended his life so ultimately it IS his fault, I'm sorry. I feel bad for his family and loved ones.

Being accountable for what I say and being held accountable for how they are perceived are two entirely different concepts. If somebody is offended, that is their choice. It does not matter as to what you say in life, an individual could find it offensive. There are individuals who get offended when you say "Jesus Christ" in vain.. so, should I be held accountable for how they feel, or should they be held accountable for how they feel?

when did i say that you were? i said it could be viewed as offensive that's all it was more of a "be respectful" type thing. if you dont want to be respectful thats your thing dude.

Hey hey hey, I thought this thread was about some teenager getting killed by an overpass. When did this become a petty fight about how people's opinions can be offensive. Yeah, the kid died, but he did so in a pretty obviously stupid way. Alienated Being just voiced his opinion about it, no need to crawl up his butt about it like Richard Gere's gerbil.

We are all entitled to our opinion and sometimes they are offensive to others but either way we have the right to feel/think however we want. And just like AB should take responsibilty for his words(which he owned notoverrated), this 17 yr old needs to take responsibility for his actions and I think that's all AB is really trying to say.
