Ecological Entity

This might resonate more with Pagans since they believe nature can manifest as entities, spirits, energies, but can environmental pollution also manifest as entities, spirits, or energies?

As some know I work at a government facility. There are a few stories I have but this is the most recent:

After having a dream which kept me weirded out for quite some time after waking, I told my co-worker that I still felt creeped out, especially being in the building, where I always feel something, a presence, near the facilities and water fountains, when walking past that corridor or coming from it I always turn back, I just feel something is there, but nothing ever is, at least visually, my inner senses tell me otherwise.

My co-worker stated he believes it was the soil, and we have discussed that angle before, I agreed since their has been much bloodshed throughout history, but also because in a nearby area they housed WW2 prisoners of war. Not sure of any documented Native American battles but I would not doubt it. Well that brought me to mentioning how the soil is also contaminated, how I read that many residents nearby have shown a higher incidence for certain cancers and other health problems. He has worked in that area for several years now, I used to make work related visits nightly several years ago, so when he mentioned because of the issues with the soil he never drinks the water it got me thinking. He usually brings several bottled waters. I used to bring just one and refill it in the fountain but not anymore after remembering about the news story I read a few years ago and his confirmation.

In either case I have not had to look behind my back when walking away since then. I have not had that feeling that something was standing near the water fountains. Is it because that slow death that that water offers because the contaminants leak into the water pipes from the soil perhaps was manifesting as an entity?

There is no way to know for sure, especially since we don't know what those chemicals might have been. Chemicals and a multitude of other factors can act on your body and mind in unpredictable ways.

I find your story very fascinating and wish I could help. The fact that you think it may be a chemical induced haunting is even more intriguing. You would have to run tests on the soil and find out what all was done there and that is just the beginning. I would love to study it for myself to be honest, but I know that would not be possible.
