Here's one of the Bush inaugurations:

So, basically - Yes.
Ruddy hell, that's crazy. No wonder there's a "them and us" mindset, the pollies are up there looking down on the cheering masses...

I may extremely dislike Obama, but I suppose I can congratulate him.

Although that sense of kindness will only last for the next few minutes.

And...

Yep. It's gone now.

Congratulations to President Obama!   I think he's done a great job, all things considering.  Yes the country is divided but the majority call the shots and they wanted Obama.

Please explain how he has done a "great Job"?

Blacks voted for him because he's black(as stated by them).

Women voted for him because they think that being able to kill there own child is some how a woman's right.

Whites voted for him because of white guilt.

Gays voted for him because of gay marriage.

Democrats voted for him because he's a democrat.

Not to mention those who voted for him because of his celebrity status.

No one voted for him because they thought he can fix the problems in the USA, and if they did then I can only wonder where they have been for the last 4 years that he has done nothing.

If it weren't for Michelle's new bangs, this whole ceremony would have been a flop. :P

Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

You missed one:

Most voted for him because he wasn't Bush or Romney.

I like your list though.
